I think it is interesting to know that Babylon was the first site of a global community that rebeled against God after the flood, Their leader was Nimrod and they tried to build the tower of Babel, before God intervened. This will also be the site of the final global community when antichrist sets up his kingdom in the restored city of Babylon. Makes you say Hmmmm!

So happy to have this "list." Our women's Bible study group is studying Daniel this week. All those great "Sunday School" stories coming to life again -- and now this added information. Thanks.

Really? I did not know this, but I am glad that I do now. No wonder there is so much turmoil in that region. Crazy. That makes me think of Iraq differently...the problems aren't just current event issues. They go WAY back.

Thanks for sharing this!
